Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Pushbutton radio, two heaters, skirts, turn signals, underdash oil and temp gauges. First owned by James Sears in Alaska which explains the two heaters. Quick old repaint, rechromed over unfilled pits. Interior redone in tacky velour which fits poorly as well. Body seals deteriorated. Chassis has been left alone and is very clean. A sound and unusual car that will reward a new owner for the work it needs.

Market commentary

In this case calling this Lincoln Zephyr a 4+ is not a criticism, it is a simple statement of fact and the cars survivorship in aged but remarkably sound condition. There is an AACA National First Prize winner in here, with an intriguing story to go with it as well, and it brought an appropriate price for what it is. On a rainy October weekend in Hershey those dual heaters will pay off in spades.
