Market commentary
This Mercedes had its own secluded pre-sale viewing area where qualified bidders were allowed access one-by-one. It was unlikely that anyone would actually buy it at auction, except anonymously on the phone, even with 10% of the hammer price donated to Holocaust education. It is, however, an impressive, heavy, armored monster of German engineering, craftsmanship and design.
