Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

No Reserve. RHD. Silver painted wire wheels, blackwall tires, low mounted headlights, bumpers, covered rear mounted spare. An old cosmetic restoration that hasnt benefited from years on display. Engine is frozen. Paint is sound but wasnt very good to begin with and has abundant orange peel texture. Minor damage to the right rear fender. Sound upholstery but worn and grubby green carpets. Dirty, oxidized engine and chassis. Correct original engine and supercharger, in the Aalholm Museum since the mid 60s.

Market commentary

This is romantic barn find money for a car that has neither a romantic history nor is it a barn find. It would be easy to like this Stelvio a lot at $400,000. At 2 3 of a million and in need of a mid six figure restoration it is very hard to get excited.
