Equipment
Radio, wide whitewalls. Well restored, with Black wrinkle finish inside fenders. Some paint flaws around fuel filler but otherwise beyond perfect.
Market commentary
Sold for $324,000 at Barrett Jackson in 2004, this was a spectacular, meticulous, obsessive restoration to beyond perfect condition. To say that it has mellowed since then would be generous. It has languished, been neglected and looks every day of its three years older. The price paid here is appropriate to its careless presentation however the new owner, with some elbow grease and sophisticated products for Zymol or Meguairs, has a chance to recapture its sparkle and confidence. It is inherently a better car than the price indicates, but is worth no more as presented.
