Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Driving lights, sliding sunroof, vented wheel discs, enclosed rear spare. One off body built for Claude Lang by Vesters & Neirinck of Brussels. Owned by Lang until 1977, next owner sold it at auction in 1989, then to the present owner in 2006. Never restored, but rebuilt and freshened after WWII for the original owner. Handsome coachwork. Repaint is now aged but sound, chrome is marginal, leather is new since 2006 and is lightly soiled and surface creased from use, chassis is dirty. Very original, with just 35,104 km from new.

Market commentary

Sold for $1,265,000 at RM Monterey in 2006 and is not getting better with age. The seller should be very happy for this generous result. It wouldnt have been overpriced at $1 million.
