Equipment

Correct Alta engined offset single seater with supercharger and some front rank prewar British racing history. Powerful and highly stressed engine needs a rebuild before going racing again. Otherwise Vintage race ready. Cost L575 new.

Market commentary

An important British racer, fairly bought at the top of Coys estimate. Alta earned a place in Borgesons Classic Twin Cam Engine for the excellent quality and design of its dohc engine.
