Low door, short tail. Chrome wire wheels, dual rear spares, driving light, dual spotlights, rumble seat. 1935 Berlin Show car, subsequently owned by Russell Strauch, Don Dickson and Imperial Palace which restored it in 1991. Presented in essentially the configuration in which it was displayed in Berlin but over restored with chromed suspension, wide whitewalls, &c. in concours ready condition.
Market commentary
There was money on this car to this bid but the seller wants $2.7 million, a gap RM tried hard to close after the sale but without success. The right price is somewhere between bid and asked.
