Equipment
Dual spotlights, shirts, pre selector, folding windshield. Show quality paint, chrome and interior except for pitted cast aluminum rear fender stone shields. Abundantly and artistically detailed with choice features. Everyone liked this car with its Clabot modifications on the origil Chapron body. Its not particularly attractive, but it is so creative and charming it was on pretty much everyones list of favorites in the auction.
Market commentary
Offered by Christies at Pebble Beach in 2001 where it was bid to $130,000 but did not sell, then reported sold at Barrett Jackson in 2004 for $178,200. Its condition here appears to have been drastically improved from B J without being re done, but that hardly supports a quarter million plus dollar bump in the value expectation.
