Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Brooklands banjo spoke steering wheel, cycle fenders, painted wire wheels. Delivered to George Les Murphy in Australia when new and raced under the Britannia Racing Team banner. Winner of 1935 Australian GP. Stored many years and just brought to the US where its had some sympathetic attention to its appearance and condition since it was seen here last Spring. Good paint and chrome, newer interior. In sound and usable condition, an excellent driver or vintage racer.

Market commentary

The seller thinks this PAs condition and period race history in Oz makes it worth $60,000. Hes probably right, but could solidify its value by getting a set of FIA historic papers for it to remove any possible concern by potential buyers about its eligibility for important intertiol historic events.
