Equipment
RHD. Modified in 1935 by H.G. Symmons with Marshall supercharger and ENV pre selector gearbox. Raced, including a 97mph lap at Brooklands, then sold to Yvonne Morel who also raced it. Acquired in 1951 by a Miss Hale who owned it until 1991 when the current owner bought it and had it restored at a cost of +33,000. Folding windshield, headlight stone guards, trafficators in cowl, extra period instruments. Still in very good condition for the age of its restoration.
Market commentary
This is a high price for a modified PA, but the cost is ameliorated by its period modification and subsequent competition history. It is a sound value in pounds but a bit rich in todays weak dollars.
