Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Dual chrome wrapped sidemounts, chrome wire wheels, opening windshield, rumble seat. Known history from new, including no less than three restorations, and a series of recognized collector owners. Freshly restored by Fran Roxas and 2004 PB Best in Class winner. Outstanding, brilliant and beyond perfect in all respects.

Market commentary

Sold by RM at Meadow Brook in 2001 for $1,980,000 in pretty tired older restored condition, something that has definitely been rectified by Fran Roxas attention. This is particularly beautiful coachwork, subtly detailed and pleasing from every angle. Its provenance is perhaps unparalleled. Bought by Randy Ema for a client who remains unidentified but is to be commended for his or her exquisite taste and style.
