RHD. 70s restoration in single family ownership since 1980 and very carefully kept and used. L1 Magna was a very attractive low chassis tourer, with adequate power from its 41hp 1,087cc six cylinder engine.

Market commentary

A soundly restored and maintained example that brought a premium price 50% over Sothebys high estimate. Not as well known as the 4 cylinder Midgets, the small 6 cylinder MGs are much rarer: 8000 Midgets to 3000 sixes.
