Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Polished wheel discs, wide whitewalls, Trippe lights, dual enclosed sidemounts, luggage rack. 1996 restoration showing its age and beginning to show some deterioration. Drivers door panel loose, door fit isnt flush, paint blisters on trunk lid. Harris Laskey Collection.

Market commentary

Believed to be the last surviving of the 18 examples of this unusual body built. Pretty gaudy presentation which would have gotten jeers (and maybe a few rotten tomatoes) from the breadlines of the Thirties. The bidders at the Jet Center, however, appreciated its style and rarity and paid a fair price for it.
