Equipment
Reputedly the last Station Wagon built by Larkins in San Francisco. Three seats, four doors, side curtains in rear, rollup windows in the front doors. A quality old restoration that shows some age. Drivers door fits tight. Good paint, interior, chrome and wood. Known history from new with a thorough documentation package.
Market commentary
Offered but not sold at Mecums auction in Pleasanton, California in March 2001 at a reported high bid of $60,000 in essentially the same condition With the popularity of wood station wagons these days, the rarity of Chevy woodies and this examples probably unique history the price paid appropriately reflects its attributes. The restoration is more patinated than aged and this should be a great and enjoyable driver around town, to the beach or on tour.
