Equipment
Chrome wire wheels, wide whitewalls, dual enclosed sidemounts, Depress Beam headlights, rumble seat, golf bag compartment. 26,632 miles. Cosmetically restored in the 60s, cosmetically and mechanically refreshed by Stone Barn in the mid 80s with some recent work and re commissioning. Cosmetically tired, windshield frame cracked, chassis painted assembled and appears to have a repaint over old paint. Interior reupholstered but door and window hardware not done. Clean underhood. A good, sound car that has lost its origility cherry and deserves a thorough restoration
Market commentary
Paint a Red Cross on the side and this would make one great ambulance. Attended to several times in its life, this low mileage Marmon Sixteen has never been restored and that poses a quandary for the buyer here who paid a full price for the responsibility. Of course, it could just be driven and enjoyed. What a concept!
