Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

IRS with Halibrand quick change. Tube IFS with coilovers. Inboard rear brakes, front brakes not installed. Bare interior. Paint finishing is spotty. Steel body. Needs a lot of finishing but most of the hard work is done. Started by Lil John Buttera in 1976 to a design by Harry Bradley. Ford V8 built by Art Chrisman with Gurney Weslake heads and fuel injection (not Webers as cataloged). A derailed project that sat for a quarter century before it was purchased by Joe MacPherson and still isnt done. No Reserve.

Market commentary

Its a little hard to figure what a thirty plus year old street rod project is worth, but its surely worth finishing if only for the admiration it would get from students of the art form. The result here is fair enough, and the new owner will be amply rewarded by rodders for completing it.
