Equipment
Firewall 2571. Chassis stamped 2534 but sourced from 2332. Chrome wire wheels, dual enclosed sidemounts with chrome bands and mirrors, outside exhausts, mesh hood sides, wide whitewalls, rollup rear windshield, Green leather covered luggage trunk, wind wings, small Pilot Rays. Assembled from a variety of original Duesenberg components, coachwork built by Billings 1975 AACA National First Prize winner. Skirted front fenders. A very well maintained older restoration with good paint and criterion and bright chrome. Its front line show days are over but it has plenty of life as a superb tour car.
Market commentary
The elegance and performance of a Duesenberg is as attractive and impressive when assembled from bits as it is when all the parts started life together and its not diminished when it has attractive open replica coachwork like this. This is a lot of car for the money, and a satisfying purchase at this price.
