Market commentary

An ultimate E ticket ride, Mr. Toads dreamcar. Incredibly expensive to build, and superbly executed in the process. This sort of ultimate concept car is very susceptible to irrational passions, which is what much of car collecting is all about. It was sold by RM at Monterey in 1999 for $605,000 in essentially the same condition, making this transaction rather painful for the seller but a very good buy for the new owner.
