Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Dual sidemounts, chrome spoke, red center and rim wire wheels, whitewalls, vee lens headlights, windwings, rumble seat, luggage rack. Good paint, better chrome, interior and top. Chassis not done to the same standards and is much older. Several gauges, switches and the speedometer missing from the instrument panel. Engine is aged, dirty and not fresh. No ID plate on the firewall. Not particularly reassuring.

Market commentary

This car has potential, but in its present incomplete condition and the uncertain workmanship of its bought disassembled, then put together condition with deficient frame and chassis prep and finishing this is all the money, and maybe even a little more than, it could justify bringing. Finished to high standards and submitted to discriminating, informed judging it could be a quarter million dollar car but for now this is the real money.
