Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Cowl lights, single sidemount, windwings, luggage trunk. Good and mechanically sound older restoration but some bubbles showing in the paint. Traditionally the most valuable Model A bodystyle. Ex Daniel Sargent.

Market commentary

Modestly bought within Christies $12 18,000 estimate. Compared with the Roadster and the Woody sold today for much more, this result shows a shift in the markets interest away from the traditional higher valuation of Phaetons and Convertible Sedans.
