Market commentary
Reported sold at the Hershey Auction in 2002 for $723,600 with $500,000 spent subsequently with Brian Joseph and Steve Cooley, Jr. to bring it to its present condition, a total of about $1.2 million. It sure caught the Amelia bidders attention, hammering sold for 20% over RMs high estimate and bringing the seller a handsome profit of nearly a million bucks. The quality will be remembered long after the price is forgotten, or at least the new owner better hope so.
