Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Chrome wire wheels, Pilot Rays, dual sidemounts, luggage trunk and rack. Rebodied by Keith Brown for Homer Fitterling from the original Holbrook to this imposing Rollston convertible victoria from J428 2525. Ed Weaver was the next owner, and it was purchased from his estate auction by the present owner, Dr. Joseph A. Murphy, in 1995. Excellent recent repaint; the rest of Browns restoration is still show quality.

Market commentary

This is an unusually attractive body, both sporting and formal with its low roof and blind rear quarters. With relatively plentiful Murphy convertibles bringing this kind of money, this beautiful older restoration and impressive coachwork is an excellent value at the price.
