Equipment

Chrome wire wheels, wide whitewalls, dual chrome wrapped sidemounts, Pilot Rays, rumble seat. Spectacularly over restored, its tempting to describe it as wretched excess except the end product is so stunningly presented. Restored in the 60s and depicted on a block of US Postal stamps, then recently disassembled and completely redone cosmetically. The chassis shows some age, but the overall impact is arresting.

So is the price, which is almost certainly a record for a Front Drive L 29 Cabriolet and probably for any L 29.
