Equipment

RHD. Rebodied as 4 seater in 1932 by the Aston Martin works, cycle fenders, aero screens. 1931 Brooklands Double Twelve (class win), Le Mans (dnf), TT (class win). Characters involved come right out of a Monty Python script: Lancelot Grant Oglander Prideaux Brune, Cuthbert Marc Dick Anthony and others. Well restored and enthusiastically raced in UK vintage events yet still mostly original.

Market commentary

Compared with an Alfa of the period this is an absolute bargain, and the new owner gets to play Lancelot G.O. Prideaux Brune and Cuthbert Marc Anthony, complete with silly walks and parrots. Sorry ... its a neat car, with good history, bought for a fair price, but, still, its hard not to be reminded of dead parrots when assessing its race record.
