Equipment
Dual chrome wrapped sidemounts, sliding sunroof, Marchal headlights, Pilot Rays, luggage rack. Very handsome, almost swoopy, sedan body. Originally with rear wheel skirts, eventually sold to Countess Porceri (formerly Mabel Boll of Rochester, NY there is a story here.) Eventually restored for Marvin Cohen w o its original bustle back trunk. Now tired and coming apart externally (paint bubbles, peeling taped pinstripes, cracked bumpers) altho the interior remains very presentable. A most handsome and charismatic Duesy that needs comprehensive cosmetic attention. Pat Ryan Collection. No Reserve.
Market commentary
At A C D or Pebble Beach this is could be the definition of elegance, as it should be. A sound and complete basis from which to start, the Countess Porceri Duesenberg (or Mabel Boll Duesenberg for Democrats) will be show quality for a reasonable cost and stop em dead. Marvin was right to lose the bustle back trunk and long should it lay dead. A real car, with a great story for modest Duesy money. Well bought; even better if Mabels biography is developed..
