Equipment

Chrome wire wheels, dual chrome wrapped sidemounts, radio, luggage trunk. Known history from new, all matching, original components. Fastidiously restored by Chris Charlton in 1998 to better than new condition without being overdone and carefully preserved since. Stunning all aluminum coachwork with cast aluminum structure and minimal wood framing. A beautiful and distinctive Duesenberg with a known, continuous history from new.

Market commentary

The coachwork (and the story of Captain George Whittel, Jr. and the lady friend to whom he gave the car) sold this Duesenberg. It is gorgeous. It is expensive, and it deserves to be.
