Equipment

RHD. Single rear spare. Marchal lights. Tired but complete and mostly origil except for a aged old repaint and refurbished interior which deserves to be called origil. Needs everything. Handsome coachwork but nothing special.

Market commentary

Exactly why this deserves to be called a Torpedo is unclear. By all objective definitions it is a 4 seat tourer, but with a low, opening windshield and a body line that hints at Bill Lyons Jaguar SS style. In this condition the amount reportedly bid is highly sufficient considering that the coachwork will never wow the judges at Hurlingham or Pebble Beach.
