Market commentary

Reported sold by Bonhams at Quail Lodge last year for $238,000. That was nutty money at the time, and this transaction a no sale at $15,000 over the low estimate is no less nutty. This is a handsome car with a period Rolls Royce body, even if its not the one it emerged from Springfield wearing. It is sound but needs everything and should have been loose and selling at $175,000.
