Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Handsome Dietrich Phaeton, Trippes, dual windscreens. Very good mid 80s restoration now a little used with some thin chrome but very sound and useable. Ex Daniel Sargent.

Market commentary

The top, with its eyebrow over the windscreen and extended sides, gives this Packard the look of a gangster wearing a Fedora. Great style and panache in a sound and well restored auto for a fair price just above Christies estimate of $90 120,000.
