Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Chrome wire wheels, dual chrome wrapped sidemounts, Trippe lights, wide whitewalls, dual spotlights, wind wings, folding windshield, radiator stone guard, rumble seat, luggage rack. An excellent older restoration and 1996 Meadow Brook award winner now showing some age but with good cosmetics and highly presentable or an outstanding tour car.

Market commentary

This is everything a real classic wants to be and a sound value at the price. The buyer can show it proudly and even more proudly drive it. It is indicative of both the market and condition (it was a 1 then) that it was a no sale at the Kruse auction in Detroit in April 1993 at a reported high bid of $180,000. Fact of the matter is that in 1993 no one had the slightest idea what cars were worth following the frenzy and fall of the late Eighties.
