Equipment
RHD. Wheel discs, dual rear spares, rumble seat, Grebel headlights. A Harrahs restoration that has held up well but is now tired and chipped. Crazed interior wood varnish, dull nickel trim. Possibly shown at the 1929 New York Auto Show. Neglected and aged with abundant patina. Appears to have benefited from careful detailing since it was last seen at auction.
Market commentary
Offered at Gooding & Companys Pebble Beach auction last August where it was a no sale at a bid of $370,000 against a low estimate of $450,000. It is a wonderful automobile. The Isotta Fraschini buyers must have been at the bidders bar when this exceptional piece crossed the block.
