Equipment

Condition
Original drivetrain. Originally bodied as a Weymann sedan but rebodied at Duesenberg in 1933 with this coachwork. Known ownership history. Good older paint and chrome with a blemish near the right rear window and a touch up on the tail. Some discoloration and water stains on the top. Lovely interior other than a handful of flaws in the wood. Tidy underneath. Not a show car, but a solid Duesenberg with a known history and rare, attractive body style.
Market commentary
A remarkably handsome and distinguished automobile with lovely but still practical and luxurious coachwork. The nearly 3 decades old restoration still presents well and has had marvelous care. But for all that, this is an ample bid for a closed Duesenberg.
