Correct original body a sold to the wife of the owner of Robinsons Department Stores in LA, 3 owners since. Chrome wire wheels, dual sidemounts and all the Duesenberg J goodies. Carefully restored about 10 years ago retaining much originality including rear compartment upholstery. Recently extensively freshened after 7 years in Owls Head Museum.

Market commentary

Very attractive for a formal car, one of two built and the only one remaining, very sympathetically restored and deserving more than the reported high bid. The perfect carriage for Nicholas Cages arrival at the Academy Awards next year.
