Equipment
RHD. Reportedly fitted with a period VdP Tourer body replacing the origil Freestone & Webb Saloon. Wheelbase shortened. Zeiss headlights, single sidemount, oversize tank, D type gearbox, B&D double shocks, split pinned fasteners, cycle fenders. Ridden hard but cooled down before going into the stable. Worn and creased leather, aged paint, oily chassis and underhood. A Bentley Driver, not a looky loo trailer queen.
Market commentary
This is how a Cricklewood Bentley should look, both in its appearance and in its condition. They are to be driven.and enjoyed, as this one has and it has immense value (barely twice the price of a good 3 Liter) on the road. The buyer negotiated a good post block deal and has more than ample value for money spent. Itsa bitsa, but behind the wheel the new owner wont notice for a moment.
