Equipment

RHD. Blue wire wheels, dual aeroscreens. Originally sold to Edsel Ford, many years in the Ford museum. Cosmetically restored by Tom Barrett in the mid 80s, then to the present owner. Repainted over old paint, shows some use. Reflector silvering on Marchal lights needs attention, no mixture control. Chromed suspension links and front axle.

Market commentary

Its a Bugatti and its very original. Its also a blowerless Type 35A and Edsel Ford on the chain of title doesnt have the cachet of Louis Chiron or Rene Dreyfus. A bid even close to this much should be enough to buy it.
