Equipment
Bausch & Lomb drum headlights. Dual sidemounts, RHD. Black wire wheels, blackwall tires, opening split windshield, rumble seat in ample rear body with original Black leather. Old repaint and reupholstery, otherwise an orderly old car. Corrosion under paint on door posts. Dull old nickel plated trim. Mostly sound paint and interior. Roof covering is discolored at the edges and has some loose places. There may be corrosion under it at the lower margin. The coachwork is awkward. Not running.
Market commentary
This will get its new owner in the same Rolls Royce events as a Silver Ghost or Phantom. That and its generally sound and apparently easily freshened condition are about the best things that can be said for it. This was a generous price, paid by a phone bidder from Europe who had already bought over half (14 of 23) of the motorcycles offered, a hint of things to come.
