Equipment
Quick old redo that is showing both age and not much care or attention. Scratched, scraped paint, peeling varnish, faded top. It might be an OK driver but even that is asking a bit much. Wooden rear body with tan cloth cover, single sidemount, disc wheels. Described in the catalog as a bread delivery wagon (a Boulangere Normande Utility or Camionette).
Market commentary
Sold by Christies at Rockefeller Center in May 2002 for $19,975 in essentially the same condition. Apparently the buyer didnt find it as much fun to own and haul bread in as I thought he or she would five years ago. Its still a great piece and definitely unique on the field of any woodie show in North America. The real profit potential would come from taking it to Quebec City or Montreal where theyd probably go mad for it.
