Market commentary

Sold at Bonhams Paine sale in 2008 for $161,000 and at Bonhams Quail Lodge sale last year for $165,000. What transpired to make it estimate for barely half of its prior transactions, after significant work following its sale at the Paine auction is unclear. It is a magnificent automobile of the highest quality, impressively maintained and preserved for many years and would be a serious bargain at the low estimate.
