Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

One off 2 litre supercharged sleeve valve race car built by Albert Guyot for Indy 500. Raced at Monthlery (4th) and Italian GP (dnf), then privately. Mostly original, recent engine rebuild. Technically unique and difficult to maintain, ready to race.

Market commentary

A technically interesting one off with an intriguing history, but a hard sell in a finicky market that wants quality, history AND the recognition of an historic marque. A sidebar in racing engine history, of value only to a committed motorhead.
