Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Dual sidemounts. Believed by the Amilcar Registry to be the 1926 New York show car. Very attractive, particularly the long slender fenders with original Ch. Duval leather step protectors and pointed tail. Not the original engine but said to be the correct type for the chassis. An older restoration with good paint and interior but some shaky chrome and edge chips from light use. Restored in the mid 90s in Holland after being discovered in Canada. A very attractive little automobile.

Market commentary

A useful and distinctive, if diminutive, automobile that should be a particularly satisfying historic racer, the price is appropriate to its rarity, condition and utility.
