Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Luggage trunk, dual rear spares, dual windshields. An older restoration in accurate period colors that dont give it much pizzaz. Good quality workmanship but showing some age; windshield plating is thin, interior shows little use. An honest old car with a solid if uninspired restoration. Wolfgang Gawor collection.

Market commentary

The bidders liked this car, and not without good and sufficient reason. It is said that most Locomobiles were scrapped for their high quality materials which makes them both rare and excellent, reliable drivers. This price shows that collectors appreciate the Locomobiles attributes.
