Equipment
Dual spotlights, folding windshield, Stewart speedometer, Red wood wheels. A sound but aged old restoration. Chipped paint, sound interior, good chrome except for windshield frame. A neat car, sound and usable if not show ready.
Market commentary
Car Card: The Velie me became a part of the Deere Dysty when John Deeres 20 year old daughter Emma married 30 year old Stephen H. Velie in 1860. The Velie Motors Corporation of Moline manufactured early automobiles from 1908 1928. During these 2 decades, the company built 250,000 to 300,000 vehicles.... Mr. Velie became well known as a stickler for product quality. One wonders how the 78 year old Mr. Velie fit in this timeline, but its still a neat old car that deserves more than the price of a Model T in comparable condition. A dual purpose vehicle that will be welcome at car shows and farm equipment events.
