Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Colonial chassis, artillery wheels, period head and side lights. Originally a Barker cabriolet for Lady Wernher of Bath House, Piccadilly and Luton Loo, later converted to an estate car by Bartle. Traded around following WWII until converted to present Tourer by Peter Whaley. Unused for nearly 25 years and needs comprehensive attention.

Market commentary

Luton Loo, one might assume, is unrelated to the English slang expression for bathrooms. This Ghosts history and originality must be a compelling attraction because the price is quite exceptional for a project car with a converted body. Or, maybe some bidder need to go, real bad.
