Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Single spare, folding rear seat, side lights. Restored some time ago and museum displayed since. Decent cosmetics and in presentable condition and not run in some time so it will require some remedial mechanical attention. 1,456cc four cylinder, three speed, stylish little roadster body.

Market commentary

The Sharpes museum cars had been on display for a long time and apparently some newly wealthy buyer had fallen in love with this Calcott as a kid. Theres little else to explain the price paid for a marque of no significance or particular technical merit. This is expensive. Pounds, Dollars, Euros or Rupees. Expensive.
