Equipment
RHD. Good paint, brass and interior. Restored to very presentable driver condition. Chassis is done, but not well, and no one who appreciates cars cares. Resurrected from a largely complete chassis and engine extricated from Mike Carusos famous Hicksville, Long Island scrap yard by D. Cameron Peck and sold to Lloyd Partdrige who restored it. Later fitted with this coachwork of little imagition but eminent practicality. The charm is in the overhead camshaft, 4 valve, 10.7 liter engine with a breathtaking 140 brake horsepower and torque sufficient to relocate entire counties. Double chain drive, 4 speed, rear wheel and jackshaft foot brakes. A frightening machine with immense power which has captivated serious collectors for nearly a hundred years.
Market commentary
Gee, do you think I actually liked this old crock No, I was subsumed by it. Among old crocks anywhere this is a breathtaking standout, identified by collectors like Peck, Austie Clark, Ralph Stein and George Wingard who instinctively know and have experienced the very best as a car apart. Legendary marques and models genuflect with respect when an Isotta Fraschini KM passes by and it takes only a glimpse of its monumental engine and chassis or the tremor of the earthquake thunder of its immense engine (each of its four cylinders has the capacity of the entire engine of a base 2008 Dodge Magnum) to understand why. Full value for money No, this is the opportunity of a lifetime.
