RHD. Lucas Kings Own acetylene headlamps, King of the Road sidelamps and tail light. Smith speedometer (not connected), SMA trumpet bulb born built in to wood lower windshield frame, opening windshield, single right sidemount. Full weather equipment including side curtains, varnished wood spoke wheels. 3 4 elliptical rear springs, live axle, semi elliptical front springs. Expanding shoe rear brakes. Lucas acetylene generator. L head four stamped 66.120.13 and 11035. Body threshold plates stamped De Dion Bouton (1907) Ltd, London. UK tax disc dated 1952. Curdled paint, discolored and water stained interior and top. Good wood. Sound body, doors close well and line up. Looks original except for paint and soft trim. Engine is old and used but fairly orderly, oily and dirty. Not running and in needs of serious attention.
Market commentary
This is an engaging old car but it represents a serious project. It has little following here in the States, which probably explains why it brought little more than a sound and complete Model T.
