RHD. White tires, nickel trim, oval rear tank, dual rear spares, Warner speedometer reading 236 miles. An excellent 1993 restoration to Pebble Beach standards, still in nearly show quality condition, with abundant charm and style. William Haines collection.

Market commentary

Plenty of people at the auction this weekend fell for this wonderfully over restored and incredibly cute piece, a fascination that is mirrored in the price. Its expensive, but worth every penny and it has now served its 10 year Pebble Beach exile and is ready for a return engagement. It is a very astute acquisition.
