Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Swivel jump seats, rear spare, electric Torpedo horn, Rubes bulb horn, Gray & Davis electric headlights. Resprayed and reupholstered in vinyl long ago but otherwise original and with 7,257, probably actual, miles showing. Paint is failing, peeling and cracking everywhere; interior is stiff and fragile, brass is dull. Sound, well equipped and complete but will need comprehensive attention.

Market commentary

The object of widespread interest among bidders, this is an outstanding old automobile that will be rewarding to own and drive even at this significant price. It was probably bought by one of the Wiglesworths, who valued it more than third parties money and not without abundant reason.
