Equipment

RHD. The 16th earliest Silver Ghost with original body, featured in 1913 1914 catalog. Sliding sunroof, oval divider window with matching rear window, Rushmore headlights. Known history from new. In sound older (1977) restored condition. Engine rebuilt in the early 90s. A stately and historic Rolls Royce.

Market commentary

This Ghost was sold on the day after the dollar hit a 5 year low against the UK pound, down some 17% from two years ago when this transaction would have been $528,660. Thats a crushing burden on US purchasers and materially distorts this transactions evaluation in todays US market. An impressive and historic Rolls Royce, its price in pounds is reasonable but is out of whack in US$.
