Market commentary
Bought by the Sharpes at the Sword Collection dispersal auction in 1965 for +900, todays hammer bid was +34,000, 36% over Christies high estimate. This is one of the best preserved automobiles in todays sale, and its price owes as much to origility as it does to the Wolseleys inherent desirability.
